Category: Comparisons
Deciding between the Ju 87 Stuka Ace core rule book and the full Stuka Ace game? This comparison breaks down what each delivers for solo Luftwaffe campaign play.
Quick Answer
If you want the complete solo campaign experience with all components, buy the full Ju 87 Stuka Ace game. If you already own the game and need a replacement or a digital reference, the Core Rule Book alone is sufficient.
What Each Product Delivers
The Ju 87 Stuka Ace Core Rule Book is exactly what it sounds like: the rulebook for the solitaire game. It contains the core rules for solo play, aircraft and weapon system statistics, and mission and campaign generation. It's a standalone purchase for those who need the rules without the physical components.
The full Ju 87 Stuka Ace game includes everything you need to fly a campaign from Poland in 1939 through France, the Mediterranean, and the Eastern Front. You get the cockpit experience, mission generation, and the physical components that bring the dive-bombing siren to life.
The Trade-Off: Cost vs. Completeness
The core rule book is priced at $24.39, while the full game is $71.99. That's a significant difference, but the rule book alone won't give you the full experience—you'll need the game's components to play. If you're new to the system, the full game is the better value. If you already own the game and need a spare rule book, the core book is the economical choice.
How to Choose
- New to the System: Choose the full Ju 87 Stuka Ace game. It includes the rule book and all components needed to start flying missions immediately. Check that the game includes everything you need before purchase.
- Already Own the Game: If you have the game but need a replacement rule book, the Core Rule Book is the cost-effective option. Verify that your existing components are compatible with the core rule book.
- Budget-Conscious or Unsure: If you want to try the rules before committing to the full game, the Core Rule Book lets you review the system, but you'll still need components to play. Consider reading reviews or watching playthroughs to see if the system fits your taste.
