The long-range armor combat is exactly what I wanted—spotting dust plumes and deciding whether to engage or reposition feels tense every single time. The rulebook handles the desert terrain and sight lines really well, so games flow without constant page-flipping.

The spotting mechanic where you only see dust clouds before identifying the tank column is genuinely tense, way better than the usual "I see you, I shoot you" hex games. My first scenario came down to a single round of hidden anti-tank fire, and I've already ordered the next module.

The way the dust clouds appear before the tanks do really nails the desert feel — you're making calls while the armor is still miles out, which makes every turn tense. Setup took a bit but the 2nd edition rules are clear, and the long-range combat is as brutal as it should be.
