Lock 'n Load Tactical: Heroes in Defiance

The Last Stand Against the Blitzkrieg

The French army in 1940 had more tanks than the Germans and some of them were better. Six weeks later it was over. What happened in between happened at the level of a road junction, a bridge and a village.

Those are yours to hold, or to take.

Put a Char B1 bis across a road and let German gun crews find out what it takes to stop one. Push Hotchkiss H35s into a counterattack that has to work the first time. Or come the other way with fast Panzers, Fallschirmjäger dropped where they are least wanted, and Stukas overhead. British Matildas hold a flank while the evacuation runs on behind them.

Where France Was Decided

Hannut, where a French counterattack met German armour head on. Stonne, held and lost and held again. The crossing of the Meuse. And the Dunkirk perimeter, with the BEF buying time it did not have.

A Complete Game

This edition brings Heroes of the Blitzkrieg and In Defeat, Defiance together into one box with the core rules, so it stands on its own rather than sitting on top of something else you have to buy.

Heroes in Defiance is a complete squad-level tactical game in the award winning Lock 'n Load Tactical series, and nothing else is needed to play it.
