The Fight for the Ring of Hills

A handful of Royal Marines on South Georgia and a small garrison at Stanley. That was the entire British presence in the South Atlantic in April 1982, and it was gone in a morning.

Both ends of the war are yours, the taking and the taking back.

Assault Darwin Hill and Goose Green with Paras who walked in and have only what they carried. Run a commando raid on Top Malo House. Then work east across the island to the hills that ring Stanley, at night, in the cold, over rock that offers nothing to hide behind.

Two Ways It Might Have Gone

Two scenarios ask what if. Argentine forces contest the British landing at San Carlos. And a last-ditch fight is made for Stanley itself rather than the surrender that actually came.

Heroes of the Falklands Companion book covers all the module rules, scenarios and important player aids. The Companion book can be used along with our board game edition or for virtual gaming online.

Ava ★★★★★

The historical background notes are fantastic—I’ve been reading through the battalion-level orders of battle and they really bring the South Georgia landing to life. The scenario book covers the fight for the ring of hills perfectly, with clear objectives and unit stats that make solo play a breeze.

Benjamin S. ★★★★★

I was blown away by the detailed terrain maps for South Georgia—they really help visualize the opening moves. The rulebook integrates the new scenarios smoothly, making it easy to jump right into the Ring of Hills campaign. Definitely added a fresh layer to the gameplay.

Avery ★★★★★

The scenario book does a great job fleshing out the South Georgia landings and the fight for the Ring of Hills with historical background I hadn't read elsewhere. Scenarios are tight and playable in an evening, though a couple of the later ones get pretty brutal for the British side.
