Biome nodes put your squad on worlds that behave differently. Nightmare nodes and a boss sheet give you something at the end of a mission that is not just more of what you already killed. New encounter cards, planet cards and mission nodes change what turns up and when, and equippables give you kit you did not have the first time round.

A Campaign, Not Just Missions

A campaign sheet strings the missions together, so what your squad spends on one job is not there for the next and the state you finish in is the state you start the next one in.
