Close Quarter Battles Waterloo 核心規則書

The solo scenarios alone are worth the price—testing different formations against a timed enemy push is a real brain-burner. My first game came down to a single bayonet charge deciding the hill, and the smoke rules made it feel perfectly chaotic.

The company-level focus makes every decision feel urgent—losing a single unit can swing the whole fight. I especially like how the smoke rules force you to commit without knowing the full picture, just like real commanders faced.

The smoke rule is what sold me — units more than fifty yards apart genuinely can't see each other's signals, so you're guessing whether your line held. Played the Waterloo scenario twice and both times the bayonet charge resolution felt tense without being fiddly.
