中世紀

I expected another dry eurogame but the hidden cabal mechanic actually kept me guessing who was really pulling strings. Played it three times in one weekend and the thirteenth-century war maneuvering still felt fresh each round.

The way you orchestrate wars without ever commanding an army is such a clever twist on the usual conquest game. My whole group spent an hour just debating who was really pulling the strings in the thirteenth century.

I’ve played three games so far and the “secret cabal” rule where you manipulate nations without being seen is really clever. The only downside is the rulebook could be clearer on how wars resolve, but once you get it, the pacing is tight.
