Nations At War: 入門套組

The rulebook explains the platoon-vs-company dynamic clearly, and I was able to set up my first scenario in under 15 minutes. The cardboard counters are thick enough to handle repeated shuffling, which surprised me for a starter kit.

The scenarios are surprisingly tense for a starter kit, and the platoon-level rules feel much more strategic than squad games I've tried. Setup was straightforward enough to get playing in under 20 minutes.

I grabbed this mainly to test whether platoon and company level play would click with me before buying into a bigger army, and the scenarios in the starter kit answered that fast. Turns out managing whole formations instead of individual squads is exactly the pacing I wanted.
