Nations At War: Desert Heat 第二版 companion

I was a little worried about the complexity of the armored warfare rules, but the included scenario book does a fantastic job walking you through the dust and distance mechanics step by step. It really brings the tension of spotting tanks on the horizon to life.

The rulebook's layout makes it way easier to reference the spotting rules mid-game. The new scenario cards for the desert terrain really change how you plan your advance.

The 2nd edition cleaned up the spotting rules so armor engagements finally feel tense instead of fiddly. Played a full scenario last night and the revised desert terrain charts made every advance a real gamble.
